Brooks got the call up from the Toronto Marlies this season for his first taste of NHL action. In seven games so far, Brooks has put up three assists. He is a smaller player who is very skilled in the offensive end. Brooks put up back-to-back seasons of 120-plus points in the WHL for the Regina Pats.
