Frederik Andersen #31 (30-years-old)


In his fourth full season as the Maple Leafs’ starting goaltender, Andersen has been a model of consistency. He has put up at least 33 wins and a .917 save percentage in his first three seasons. He is off to another tremendous start this year, with a 21-8-5 record. Andersen was acquired via trade by former GM Lou Lamoriello in 2016. It was Andersen’s size and athleticism that excited the Maple Leafs. He is a large goalie, standing at 6’4” and weighing 230 pounds. Andersen has helped the Maple Leafs make the playoffs in three consecutive seasons.

Fun Fact:

Hockey runs in the family for Andersen. In his native country of Denmark, his Dad, his younger brother, and younger sister all played high level hockey growing up.
