Bio:
Acquired via trade in January of 2019, Muzzin spent the first seven seasons of his NHL career with the Los Angeles Kings. In 2013-14, Muzzin helped the Kings win their second Stanley Cup. Muzzin has the reputation of a shut down defender, who is very physical with the body. He can chip in offensively from the blueline as well – scoring a career high 42 points in 2017-18. In his first year with the Kings, he led all rookie defensemen in plus/minus with a plus 16 rating. Muzzin has a plus 19 rating through his first two seasons with the Maple Leafs.
